Your weekly round-up of news from around our wonderful Golden Apples Family nurseries is here!

EASTER EGG-CELLENT!

Head Start, Ramsey

We’ve been having lots of fun with our Easter activities. The children have made Easter cards and chocolate nests as well as decorating Easter biscuits

The children have loved exploring the different activities encouraging concentration, fine motor skills, maths, problem solving, literacy, understanding of the world and, of course, having lots of fun!

SMILES BETTER!

The Beacon, Rendlesham

Pre School took a recent trip to the dentist! They learned all about keeping their teeth clean and healthy. Now… smile!

BUNNY’S COMING!

After all that dental health work, we must remember not to each too chocolate – because the Easter bunny is on their way to us!

PERFECT PLANNING!

The practitioners put so much thought into preparing exciting activities for all our children at the Beacon.

Such dedication and thought goes into planning for each unique child to develop their imagination and creativity.

What a great team!

TRACK STARS!

Bluebell, Eltisley

Check out this amazing train track built by the Pre-School children. We were so impressed!

BRILLIANT BUGS!

The Anchor, Huntingdon

What a busy week for the toddlers in Hurley Room. The children focused on bugs and butterflies.

They used tweezers to pick worms out of a Montessori box, enjoyed painting and creating their own pictures of bugs and butterflies and they spent hours in the forest searching for bugs using magnifying glasses!

MINIBEAST MARVELS!

Here's what our Pre-Schoolers in Ariel Room have been up to – a week of focusing on life cycles and minibeasts.

The children made a lovely bug house which inspired them to make their own bug hotel. They went scavenging in the forest to find natural resources.

They really enjoyed researching spiders and going into the forest with magnifying glasses looking for minibeasts.

The Pre-Schoolers also enjoyed spending the day with activities related to The Hungry Caterpillar story. They used this story to expand on their knowledge of healthy eating.
